PARSIPPANY, N.J., Nov. 18, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- With the opening of its first rental location in Vadodara, in the State of Gujarat, Avis India has expanded its network to 20 cities and 45 rental locations, the most of any rental car company operating in India.

Avis locations throughout India are conveniently located in major downtown areas and industrial centers, with pick-up and drop-off service provided to and from major airports and rail stations. Avis has been operating in India for more than 14 years, with a fleet of approximately 2,000 premium cars, through a joint venture of Avis Budget Group and The Oberoi Group, one of Asia's leading hospitality companies.
