PARSIPPANY, N.J., Nov. 12, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Avis Car Rental has integrated Avis Preferred^®, the Company's express rental service, with Google Wallet — making Avis the first car rental company to participate in this new application for mobile devices. The Google Wallet app, available for Android and iPhone devices, allows users to save all their loyalty program information and offers in one place, as well as easily send money to anyone in the United States.

Starting today, travelers can easily enroll in Avis Preferred via the Google Wallet mobile app and have their new Avis Wizard number automatically populated in the app. Existing Avis Preferred members can save their Wizard number in the app as well. Storing this information will allow Google Wallet users to receive offers for Avis rentals directly via the Google Wallet app and easily retrieve their Wizard number when needed.
